What a lovely gift ~ an elegant wall plaque with the message "Welcome Friends" stitched below a pretty embroidered heart.   The heart hangs from a stitched ribbon, and is framed within an oval, with a border stitched around the edge to finish.  This elegant embroidery project features frosted champagne fabric from Lakehouse, and the embroidery is stretched over foam board.  Artist's canvas could also be used.  The design lends itself to framing, if this is your preference.  For a simpler finish, you could make the piece into a wall hanging with the addition of pieced borders and a decorative quilt hanger.

There is scope in the pattern to vary the message to suit your own requirements, as an alphabet and numbers are given, so that you can personalize your wall plaque, e.g. for a special wedding anniversary, Christmas greeting, or special birthday.
