If you love embroidery, and you love quilting, you are in for a treat! All the way from Australia, Faeries in My Garden is bringing our designs to London! Embroidery within quilting, and small embroidered projects are our hallmark, and we have plenty to show you.
Sweet and romantic, with exquisite fabrics, our designs are all originals by Lesley McConnell, with patterns expertly computer-drawn by Kevin McConnell. Our patterns have iron-on transfers for ease of marking the desing on to the fabric ready for embroidery.
Our exciting new reveal is the third and final version of our Edwardian quilt "My Fair Lady". The original design (M'Lady's Dressing Room) was released as a first in Birmingham in August last year, and it was the star of our show. We went on to release the second version, M'Lady in Black, and this one, too, proved to tickle the fancy of many of our U.K. and European customers. We are happy to say we will have the very newest (and final) version of this design on the wall in London, and you can see it for yourself, and decide whether or not you would like to participate in the Block of the Month programme, which will start in March 2017. There are still just a few places left in the first two versions, so if you can't wait until March, or you prefer the aubergine or the black versions, then now is the time to sign up. The kit and pattern set for the black version will be on sale at the show, so you can avoid postage by purchasing it there and then. In this design, there are eight blocks to embroider by hand, and one pre-printed centrepiece to embellish. The technique of water-colour pencil painting is used to enhance the embroidery ~ a technique that is much easier than it might look!
We have just released our gorgeous project "Dolly's Playhouse" and this will be on display at the show. It is the fourth project in our popular *Gift of the Month* club, and members were delighted with this parcel when they received it in the mail. Our very popular *Gift of the Month* Club will be in its ninth year of operation in 2017. Signing up for this twelve-month programme enables you to receive a brand new, first release, mystery gift project, every second month, for you to make for yourself or your special people. There are six projects in a year, and the cost includes pattern and fabric. Threads and Embellishments can be ordered as extras. Go to our *Gift of the Month* Club section on our website if you would like to find out more about this exciting mystery club. You can join over the website, or you can join at the show. The club starts in February 2017, so there are no charges until then. We offer places first to our existing members who decided to renew, and then we open up places to everyone else. We are already taking names for next year, so hop in if you are sure you would like to be part of the club!
SHOW SPECIALS: Sadly, there are some of our projects that didn't make the cut when we had to decide which samples to bring to the U.K. shows this year ~ we can't bring everything! The good news is, we have reduced the price on these projects (both kits and patterns) and are selling them out at very low prices ~ you won't believe how low! We have a specials table that will hold some great bargains ~ you will be surprised at what is there! Some are even block of the month pattern sets, reduced from GBP75 to as low as GBP10! Other specials are patterns at GBP5 each or 3 for GBP10! Don't miss this table!
Follow us on Facebook, and join our email newsletter on the website. We post on Facebook almost every day, and we have a Facebook group called "Faerie Floss Stitchers" ~ you are welcome to join. We have groups also for those doing our newest Blocks of the Month, and you are welcome to join these, whether or not you are participating in the BOMs.
