Step into history as you explore the beauty and elegance of an Edwardian lady's bedroom.  With images that breathe the stillness and calm of the era, you will delight in stitching these blocks.  There are eight embroidered blocks, and one pre-printed block ~ the lovely Lady Cora (in her younger days) ~ as the stunning centrepiece of this design.  A sumptuous swag border befits the scene, and you can almost feel you are drawing back the curtains to bring to life the interior of this stately home, brushing away the dust, and savouring the smell and feel of antiquity.  

The quilt is available as a Block of the Month programme, and runs for 14 months.  The price includes pattern, fabric, and postage (within Australia and New Zealand).  The price for other overseas destinations is $56 per month, and this has the same inclusions.

Available as extras are a complete embroidery threads pack as a one-off cost at $89, as well as an embroidery stabilizer pack (1.8m of 100% cotton Vlieseline G 700) @ $33.  You can also order a tin of 24 Derwent water colour pencils, priced at $49 (Aust & NZ) and $59 (Other Overseas destinations) if you order these with the first month's package.  Please note in the Comments Column if you would like us to include any of these extras with your order.

There are two versions of the quilt currently available: the black one, pictured here, and the aubergine one pictured in the cateogy above this one.  At this stage, we have a few places in both versions.

We have a Facebook group dedicated to this quilt, and it is open for anyone to join who is doing the BOM or who is interested in seeing the progress fo those who are making the quilt.  It's a lovely group, with lots of hints and tips along the way, and a very generous sharing of ideas and inspirations is obvious.  You are very welcome to join, whether or not you wish to do the quilt.  The link is printed in the introductory section to this item on our website.  Click the "back" button to see this.

The pattern set and full kit are also now available if you prefer to use your own fabrics, or to receive the kit all at once. The kit includes the pattern set, as well as all the fabrics needed to make the quilt top. The pattern set consists of 14 individual full colour patterns, each with detailed instructions, embroidery diagrams, and transfers as needed. It also includes the pre-printed panel of the centre block "Lady Cora".
