You can almost hear the strains of "Downton Abbey" in the background as you view this lovely new queen size quilt.  With sentimental images of an Edwardian lady's bedroom, the quilt explores the elegance and grace of this beautiful era.  There are eight embroidered blocks, and one pre-printed block ~ the lovely Lady Cora (in her younger days).  Water colour pencil painting enhances the embroidery for the eight blocks, and you can add embellishment to the pre-printed centre block.

The quilt is made in a glorious range of premium Quilt-gate fabrics from Japan ~ fabrics that not only please the eye, but are so soft and beautiful, that they are a joy to use.  Sumptuous swags create the outer border, the perfect frame to an elegant collection.

The Block of the Month programme runs for 14 months, and the price includes pattern, fabric, and postage (within Australia and New Zealand).  The price for other overseas destinations is $56 per month, and this has the same inclusions as within Australia.

A separate threads pack is available as a one-off charge of $89, and this contains all the embroidery threads you will need to make this quilt. Also available is a set of 24 Derwent water colour pencils @ $49 if ordered with the first month's parcel (Aust and NZ).  ($59 for other overseas destinations).  Embroidery stabilizer (Vleiseline G 700 ~ 100% cotton) is also available as a pack of 1.8m for $33. The pattern set and full kit are now available separately.  The kit includes the pattern set, as well as all the fabrics needed to make the quilt top. The pattern set consists of 14 individual full colour patterns, each with detailed instructions, embroidery diagrams, transfers as needed, and the pre-printed panel of the centre block "Lady Cora".
